June's 2nd Birthday Party

We had a small snowman themed birthday party for June yesterday at our house. Six of her little friends came and a fun time was had by all! The kids made snowman finger puppets we ate snowman shaped cheese and even the desserts were in the shape of a snowman- although they didn't come out as cute as the one in the magazine. We only got a few good pictures, I guess we were too busy to remember to grab the camera all that often. June got a lot of great gifts! We can't believe our little one is two years old already.

December Fun!

What a busy month! December completely snuck up on me and has been flying by like I cannot believe. I have today and tomorrrow to regroup from June's birthday, quickly get into Chirstmas mode and get everything ready to go to Michigan. Even so, I didn't want to neglect the blog (and it's faithful followers) though so decided to share the December pictures that we have so far!

Thanksgiving 2010!

Just got home from a fun Thanksgiving at my parent's house. Keith's Parents were able to join us this year and June was quite excited (and a little confused) to have four Grandparents in the same place!
Here are some shots from the weekend:

The Return of the Strawberry!

June surprised us by absolutely loving trick or treating. We thought we would just stop at a few houses but ended up being out for almost two hours. She loved going up to the houses and was virtually unfazed by the scary set ups and costumes we came across around the neighborhood! Some of the more loyal blog followers will probably notice that June wore the same strawberry costume that she had last year. We figured that she really didn't get to go out last year, plus it was too big then and fits perfectly now. She loved it and we even made her wagon into a strawberry patch for the outing!
I also included a few pumpkin carving pictures. Happy Halloween!

A Day at The Farm!

You can see from that title that I read too many kids books- probably at least ten a day right now. Pretty sure I borrowed the idea from Curious George or big Bird. Anyway, June and I went to this really neat local farm that was putting on a "pumpkin feast." There was a petting zoo, a hayride, a train, an inflatable slide, a corn maze and a bunch of little play areas. Needless to say June had lots of fun. Got lots of good pictures.... here they are!
